Heritage Restoration
Victorian Revival
Location: Cabbagetown, Toronto | Completed: 2020
Heritage projects are tricky—you're dealing with city bylaws, preservation committees, and structures that've been settling for 130 years. This Victorian semi had been chopped up into rental units in the 70s and needed serious love.
We restored original plaster moldings, tracked down period-appropriate fixtures, and carefully updated all the systems without destroying the character. The basement became a modern family space while the main floors kept their historical integrity. It's like time-traveling but with better plumbing.
